TEST SHOTS - SLR Magic 35mm f/1.7

Now I'm going to take test shots (no photoshop, resized, handheld) today!

Capture nature moments.

I love this. So dreamy. Glad I taught my dear friend Kat how to pose.

These are my favorite shots. The bokeh is beautifully bizarre. Thank you for your emo pose, my cat Flame.

Going to the beach.

Kitchen. Ready to eat for dinner.

Goodnight, let my GF1 camera and SLR Magic lens rest now.

  1. nice pics!
btw, was your item shipped via phil. postal service?
i want to order as well, but doubtful with the postal service here in our country.

  2. lauren: thank you! <3

dex: thanks! Yes, SLR Magic from HK has shipped it to my province La Union so the package went well. Are you in Manila?

  3. Thanks for the response, im from pangasinan. That's good to hear, now ima get one myself, i feel a bit confident now! Hope philpost won't f*ck it up.

  4. They will deliver SLR lens to your house, not in Philpost. :)

  5. i hope so. *is crossing his fingers*
did it took a month for
    your item to arrive?

  6. Thanks for sharing Mall! I have been looking for something like this for a while. I was going to get a lensbaby for my Olympus EPL1 but I think I may go with this instead.

By the way, I adore your black and white photos. Well the color too :)

  7. @dex: i guess it took for 10-12days. No worries, you can wait for it patiently. ;)

@steph: you're more than welcome! Lensbaby is so expensive (thats what I wanted to buy that...) but I discovered SLR Magic images from my friend on Flickr so I ordered it... SLR is just like Lensbaby! :) Remember, SLR Magic lens is only for manual focus.

  8. superb picture with this lovely combo!!

    Thanks for sharing

  9. Stumbled upon your site while searching for reviews of SLR Magic 35mm lens.

Well, I am sold. Buying one. Thanks.

And lovely photos. Especially, portraits. Almost haunting.

  10. Nice bokeh... Can we use the lens with EOS DSLR?

  11. Btw Mall... SLR Magic is the type of old video lens, correct? C-mount? (Sorry to ask you here, couldnt find "contact" :D Thanks.
